Today is the 9th day of the Blue Western Castle of Burning. The next castle begins on Lunar 21 (September 12) - 43 days after tomorrow.

The Blue Western Castle of Burning contains the Serpent, Mirror, Monkey, and Seed wavespells.

This castle is very aptly named as it certainly does burn. This is because it contains the two portal day columns. The first wavespell is the Red Serpent wavespell. On the second day of this wavespell there begins what I call a ten-day portal day extravaganza! It is the most intense castle of them all. Whenever it is due I have to psyche myself up as I know it will be a crazy time. The second wavespell of this intense castle is the White Mirror wavespell, the time for 13 days of truth. And there is no escaping the truth! The third wavespell is the Blue Monkey, watch out because monkey is full of tricks and illusion. However if you a wise you may find a lot of magic too. Lastly we have the Yellow Seed wavespell which contains the second ten-day portal day extravaganza! Personally I found this wavespell easier then the first ten day extravaganza. Whereas the first is usually too intense to be enjoyable, the second one is more fun. The seeds you planted before can be harvested now. You shall reap what you have sown.

Today is the 9th (Solar) day of the Serpent wavespell of Life-force.

The agenda for this 13 day period is "instincts, kundalini and life force." The serpent is a powerful symbol within many cultures. To the Maya it was so sacred that they made this calendar in honor of it. Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent is the central character in their mythology. As astronomers, they would have observed that the moon as it orbits the earth, winds around the earth in the same way as a snake. If the moon left a trial of smoke like a jet plane you would see it clearly. The Maya based their calendar around the moon. The number 13 providing the base number for their calculations. The Red Serpent wavespell contains ten portal days and the 13 day journey through this wavespell is very intense. Many life changes occur during this wavespell. it is a time to shed your old skin and emerge renewed and healed. It is a time to transmute the poison in your soul. It is also time to balance your base chakra (kundalini). Interestingly, the wavespell ends with Red Cosmic Earth which translates into - transcending evolution!

How can I realize my purpose and pulse to the natural rhythms of Life?

The Solar tone is about realizing, pulsing, and intention.

Realizing literally means transforming an idea into reality. Solar occurs during a pivotal point in the wavespell, and you may begin seeing things coming into reality. Begin realizing your purpose: what areas of Life are starting to shift your way?

There's a certain rhythm to the energies that you attract. Once you synchronize yourself to the pulsing, you can better become synchronized to the natural rhythm of Life itself. At the same time, begin aligning yourself with the natural pulses of Life. These pulses can manifest in a number of ways: the sunrise and sunset, phases of the moon, and even times when you get hungry. All of these events allow you to access different energies.

Most importantly, make sure your intention still aligns with your original purpose, or make it more specific. Your intention is the first step in the creative process (the other two steps are feeling and action). The Solar tone reminds us to ensure our intentions are aligned with what we are trying to change in our lives, and to remember the intentions behind our actions. Do they speak accurately about ourselves?

The Red Skywalker represents 'adventure, wakefulness and exploring'. Red Skywalker is about becoming awakened by exploring, adventures and mind expansion. This takes courage to think outside the box and to leave your comfort zones. When we experience Red Skywalker days we should all strive to do things differently. They are great days for going on an adventure and being more courageous. People who are too stuck in their routines should take time out to explore other possibilities. Experiences in life give us the wisdom and knowledge needed to wake up. Expanding our consciousness is what 2012 is all about, so we best use these days to work on that.
